Excited about getting the doll. However after five minutes of passing her around checking her out ….a chunk of hair fell out. Not child had it either it happened in my own. hand. Disappointed in the craftsmanship. Sad. Nobody brushed the hair either, nobody pulled on her hair. This was a monitored situation. And again the hair fell out in my hand.

What a beautiful doll! Love this doll’s realistic proportions and hair. As one other reviewer mentioned, she has a kind look to her face. Nothing fierce about this doll- just intelligent, healthy and fun!

I love her so much! I am a collector of dolls and have a wide range of Barbies. I was bothered by the unrealistic aspects of Barbie, so I searched and found Lammily. One thing I love to do is customize my dolls and make new clothes for them. I have had so much fun so far making clothes for my Lammily. Thank you for creating her; I’d recommend to anybody!

This doll just arrived for my 5 year-old daughter and we are thrilled! I knew the hair was going to be more like our “crazy curls” but the realistic color difference on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet made me just melt! I hope there are more cute heels for the dolls soon! We also got the Orange Astronaut outfit.

As a collector, I can say this is my favorite of the three dolls till now. I have them all. She has a kind, beautiful face, colorful clothes and a great backstory. Amazing hair. Would have given her different shoes, since heels seems little practical when on a photo-safari. The box is as beautiful as Traveller’s, and she just seem a lot more fun than her predecessor. Maybe it’s the hair. The camera could do with a few painted details, but still looks good.

When I first read about the first Lammilly doll I just knew I had to get it for my daughter. I love the fact that I’m able to buy a natural looking doll for my little girl. She is still a bit to young to play with them, but when she is all 3 of them are waiting for her. Thank you so much for making theese dolls so a new generation of kids can have a more positive body image.

I love this doll!!! There are so many little details put into her and her camera that make her like a unique individual. I especially love her hair. It is so realistic and very curly; I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such curly hair on a doll before. Of her clothes, I especially love the skirt. It is so alive and full of color. I hope to see more of these dolls in the future.

Happy to see the new version of Lammily. Still Hoping for a Lammily to be created within the next 10 years with dark blond hair. For now I haven’t got kids – but if I’ll get girls I want to buy some realistic dolls. — Maybe some day there will be created even a little sister or a nice grandma. 🙂 Looking forward to the future 🙂 Many thanks to all who support this awesome project 🙂

More beautiful than expected!! Her hair, I was afraid it would be too hard to deal with. But, it’s great! It looks so cute in rubber bands with pigtails and ponytails.
To whomever said the hands and feet should be especially treated, may heaps of blessings be piled upon you!! It was a special peeve if mine that dolls of color in the past looked like paint dipped white dolls. This gal really looks like my friends?

We just received our eagerly anticipated photographer dolls! They are absolutely beautiful! We are thrilled and think the package artwork and story is even more compelling than for the traveler doll! Thank you so much for this lovely addition to the Lammily family!

I can not wait for this doll to come out! My birthday is in May and this doll is #1 on my wish list! I’m so excited! Her hair looks like you don’t even have to brush it! Can’t wait!!!! ?

We love Lammily. My daughter is 9 and we have had many useful discussions on body image and role models as a result of Lammily. She loves her doll and can’t wait to get more. Some of her friends have said Lammily is ugly and/or fat and it fills my heart with joy to hear my daughter stand up for Lammily and explain that Lammily is more real and normal. I feel strongly that Lammily is helping my daughter work out her path and role in the world and I rejoice in the fact that it helps her think outside the box and question the “norm”. I think every child should have a Lammily. Our Lammily is even getting quite good at Irish dancing!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for adding a doll of color to the Lammily family. I understand that it’s not always realistic (from a business/financial perspective) to make a wide variety of ethnicities or skin tones available, and I appreciate that you’ve had to make choices for things like eye & hair color, etc. that are most likely to appeal to the target demographic. All that biz-speak aside, though, I am THRILLED to see a darker-skinned doll available. My granddaughter, a 4-y.o. blue-eyed dirty blonde, enjoys dolls that look like her, but she really likes dolls of other ethnicities. I can’t wait to present her with this one; she will absolutely love it and I’m sure it will become her new favorite. Thank you for expanding the Lammily line; we look forward to seeing what’s next!!!
Shirley –
Good to see you are starting to add dolls of various ethnicities!!!
I am going to be buying for my granddaughter and she has a wide range of ethnicities among her MANY dolls. I am looking forward to adding Lammily dolls to her collections.
Next I would love to see male dolls in your line: her little brother plays along with her dolls, including the multiple versions of Kens, so it will be nice to have male Lammily dolls!!

I’m buying 2 for my daughter. One to play with and one to collect.

We are lucky if our kids play past 12 with Barbie’s or other dolls most stop at
10 so we have a short span of time to teach our kids anything about image before the Internet takes over
their view of things and we have no control over what they see think hear or feel anymore. The Typical
Barbie doll is the image of the Early 50’s up to now of cover models. How many of us try to look like the cover
models? I say plenty with Breast implants, liposuction ,fat lips, more booty, less booty . We are all trying to re image ourselves
to the first real role model we had besides our mothers and some don’t have them. The Barbie comes to play in our image
of what someone desirable loved or wanted should look like. I don’t hate Barbie I love her but when the Twiggy doll came out I thought she was the Bomb.
With her big eyes and skinny Body.I was always chunky and Twiggy was my role model even though at my height and weight I was never going to ever look like Twiggy. Every day I played with this doll she was my favorite.. To this day I still have a problem with my body. Always a scale
nearby in my home in fact I have 4.
So I really think parents have to take a stand on what their kids play with everyday and not worry that if their kids play with a fatter doll
that they will never lose weight ect or get fat . Remember we played with these dolls as children if we have a problem with our children gaining weight it might be because of the perfect doll we had as a child. This doll is not obese it’s just real looking, actually I think she could use a few more pounds.
Another fact is I worked in a daycare and boys also play with Barbie’s in Daycares and other child watching facilities. So you really have to look
at what the standard Barbie is teaching our boys about woman as well as the girls. I think this Doll gives us all a choice. Good luck with this I think it is a much needed item.
